I hope all of you and your families are safe and well. This difficult period leads us to feel closer and reminds us of the importance of human relationships, a value that we in the hospitality sector feel strongly about.
It is a difficult moment for many people and from the Alta Badia in the Dolomites, together with Rita and Richard Pescosta we would like to send you our warmest message of strenght and love.
Immersed in nature, protected by the fortitude of the rocks and so close to the sky from the top of our 1560 mts, we strongly feel that serene wisdom that only open spaces can offer and that we would like to share with you.
In Corvara life calmly goes on. As everywhere the attention against covid19 is very high. We listen to all the news about the tough situation that our country faces and we sincerely hope that the new measures taken can bring the situation back under control soon.
In the meanwhile, here in Alta Badia we have experienced some amazing days of snow that opened our soul to the emotions of the new winter season, but also warm and magical autumn colours days.

At Hotel Sassongher we are working hard as in all the mid-break periods to make our hotel better. We have fully renovated the Hubertus Suite which is now brighter and benefit from a new and balanced space. Hope you can appreciate it soon! General maintenance and deep sanitization of each room and common areas are also being carried out.
In the same way, in Alta Badia there is a great effort to ensure safe holidays for our guests, staff and all of us. A special program #wecareaboutyou is in place. It sees all the trade association and the institutions engaged with the implementation of the safety actions with the highest level standards for the reopening of the ski-lifts for the winter season, planned on December 5. Technology helps us. The new Skier’s map for example, which will provide in real time the queues and flows situation in each ski-lift and track. A great tool to avoid crowds.
The past summer season under covid19 safety measurements has been an excellent testing ground. Thanks to the wonderful nature and the infinite open spaces, the numerous visitors experienced great regenerating holidays.
Now, with deep confidence, we look forward to the opening of the winter season. To live together.
