At the Alta Badia Golf Club in Corvara, golf enthuasiasts can count on a splendid 9-hole course set in the Dolomites. Here you can play in summer, from June to September at an altitude of 1700 meters, on a total course of 2730 meters, with minimum height differences (approx. 45 meters) and a pleasant exposure to the sun.

Founded in 1997, the Alta Badia Golf Club is one at the highest altitude. Surely it is the one that offers the most spectacular panoramic view of the Dolomites – Unesco World Heritage.
Every year the Alta Badia Golf Club organizes a rich calendar of golf tournaments, including the classic annual event Hotel Sassongher Golf Tournament, a 18-hole competition with the final award ceremony at the Hotel Sassongher 5* in Corvara. Find out the next dates
The Alta Badia Golf Course History
The Golf Club in Alta Badia was founded in 1997 thanks to the initiative of the Alta Badia hoteliers, including the Hotel Sassongher – founder member and passionate supporter. It has been a real challenge to get through this idea, due to the altitude and the cold temperatures in the mountain. A golf course at 1700 mt of altitude means the possibility to play only in the limited period of the summer due to the snowing winter seasons.
The great passion of the Alta Badia founder members, including the Hotel Sassongher, overcome all the difficulties.
Today the maintenance of the Golf Club Alta Badia is very well organized and efficient. The “green” is always kept in an excellent way, the staff is very friendly and helpful and you can spend a lovely moments playing golf in full relax – surrounded by the fantastic view of the Dolomites..
